Globe Life Field bag policy

No trip to Arlington, Texas is complete without snagging tickets to an event at Globe Life Field. Located in the heart of Arlington, Globe Life Field is the home park of the MLB Texas Rangers baseball club. The Texas Rangers won their first World Series title not too long ago in 2023, and the fans and locals are still riding high.

This is a newer stadium which opened in 2020. Besides being packed with modern features and amenities, it also has a retractable roof so that weather never interferes with game day or any other events taking place in the stadium. The venue has hosted some of the biggest concert tours over the past several years including Pink, Def Leppard, Taylor Swift, Paul McCartney, and Beyoncé.

Arlington is more than just a baseball city though, it's got many standout attractions and reasons to visit and explore. Some of these include the Arlington Museum of Art, Division Brewing, The Parks Mall at Arlington, UTA Planetarium, and Six Flags Over Texas for high-octane fun. And because Arlington is only about 20 minutes from Dallas, it opens your sightseeing options even more.

Before making your way to the venue, make sure you're aware of the Globe Life Field bag policy. You don't want to arrive with your luggage in tow only to discover you can't bring it in with you, and there is nowhere to store it at the stadium. We're here to help not just with luggage storage, but to ensure you have a fabulous experience at Rangers games or any other event at the ballpark.

This stadium offers the ultimate comforts

Globe Life Field bag policy

The bag policy is probably the most important rule to be aware of at the ballpark. Bags can't exceed 16”x16”x8”. Backpacks that are single-compartment drawstring bags are permitted, but no other types or styles are. Purses must also adhere to the policy. Coolers of any kind are prohibited. There is no clear bag policy in effect, so you don't have to worry about that rule.

The bag exceptions include those carried for medical reasons or manufactured diaper bags for those who have young children with them.

If your bags don't fit the policy, there are a limited number of storage lockers at the stadium. They are relatively small in size, fill up fast, and they can be expensive to rent. It's for all of these reasons that Bounce's affordable and convenient luggage options are a much better solution.

Additional Policies Throughout the BallPark

There are a few more policies regarding what's allowed inside, as well as some tips that will help you have a good time on game day. Here are the most important ones.

Outside Food and Beverage Items

Outside food is permitted but it needs to be stored inside a sealed clear plastic bag that doesn't exceed one quart. You can also bring in one sealed non-flavored water. The plastic bottle cannot exceed one liter. So that's one item of food and one bottle of water per ticket. For those with dietary concerns and those with small children, additional considerations are made.

Even though outside food is allowed, you may prefer purchasing something at the more than 100 concession stands. You can also mobile order using the MLB Ballpark app. Sometimes it supports delivery to your seat.

Globe Life Field is a cashless venue, so be sure to bring a debit or credit card with you. There are also reverse ATMs for those who need them.

Transportation Options

You don't want to be late for the Rangers game or concert, so planning your transportation mode and route is necessary. You can drive but parking lots fill up fast and can be expensive. Take note that all the parking lots are also cashless, but you can purchase a parking pass through the MLB Ballpark app.

Rideshare and taxis are a popular option since there are designated drop-off and pick-up points. Drop-off is at the Chatman Cutoff and pick-up is on Randol Mill Rd. If you're staying at one of the downtown hotels, the Trolley Service can be a great choice.

Camera Policy for Events and Game Day

Cameras are allowed but you can't have professional equipment. Prohibited items include lenses longer than 8", camera cases, selfie sticks, monopods, and tripods. There is no limit to cellphone use or personal video equipment.

Accessibility Features

The ballpark features accessible restrooms, seating, parking, escalators, elevators, and escorts for those with wheelchairs so all guests feel comfortable and welcomed.

Making the Most of Your Visit to Globe Life Field

A visit to Globe Life Field should be all about fun and excitement. Maybe you want to show up early to watch batting practice, browse through the Grand Slam gift shop, check out the various concession stands and food options, or just relax in your seat and soak up the atmosphere. No matter what, we've got you covered when it comes to luggage storage so you can make the most of your time on game day.
