Honda Center bag policy details

Honda Center Bag Policy

All events at Honda Center have a strict bag policy. Bags and purses can't exceed 5 in. x 9 in. x 2 in. and they are all subject to inspection, including clear bags and purses. Backpacks are not permitted in the venue. All other purses/bags/clutches will not be allowed into the stadium even if they are a clear bag.

There are exceptions for those who need a diaper or a bag for medical items such as special medical equipment, prescription medication, or breast pumps. These bags can't be larger than 12 in. x 12 in. x 12 in. Medical and diaper bags are both subject to manual inspection before they are allowed into the venue.

If you're unsure of what medical equipment are permitted, be sure to contact customer service before the event. Because diaper bags must undergo the same type of screening, you may have questions about what's allowed too.

The stadium does not offer a bag check, so you'll need another plan.

Additional Honda Center policies and rules

Additional Rules and Policies at the Arena

Besides the bag policy, there are other rules at the venue that you'll want to know about. Let's take a look.

Food and Beverage Policy

Guests should know there is no outside food or drinks allowed in. This also includes water containers or water bottles, even if they're empty. The only exception is baby food or food for guests who require it for medical reasons.

Transportation Options

The Honda Center is conveniently located in downtown Anaheim which gives fans multiple ways to get there.

If you're driving, check your ticket in advance for the entry time and then plan to give yourself plenty of extra time. Traffic is heavy anywhere near Los Angeles, and that includes Anaheim. The parking lots also fill up fast on game and event days.

You can use a taxi or rideshare if you prefer, this is usually easier than driving to the venue.

There is also public transportation, which is the most affordable and usually the most convenient option. The Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center(ARTIC) has a station across from the stadium.

Camera and Video Recording Device Policies

Cameras are allowed, but you can't have any additional camera equipment such as monopods, tripods, camera mounts, selfie sticks, and microphones. The lens of your camera can't be longer than 6" or have a detachable lens either. One more thing, camera bags aren't permitted.

Prohibited Items and Additional Rules

For those rules and prohibited items that didn't fit in the above categories, here's a list you can refer to.

  • Strollers aren't allowed in the venue.
  • Backpacks of any size are prohibited.
  • The arena has a no-re-entry policy, if you leave you won't be permitted back in.
  • Signs are permitted as long as they don’t obstruct the view of another guest and aren’t attached to a stick or pole.
